The Town of Moncks Corner, South Carolina is seeking resumes from qualified persons with proven administrative ability and at least five years municipal management experience for the position of Town Administrator. Moncks Corner operates under the strong mayor form of government giving him or her authority for all operations of the Town in day-to-day operations. The administrator carries out all day-to-day functions as prescribed by the Mayor. This includes but is not limited to, budget preparation, economic development, procurement, personnel and oversight of Town departments and functions.
The FY 15-16 budget for the Town is $6.8 million with 102 Town employees. Moncks Corner’s is a rapidly growing community located 32 miles northwest of Charleston S.C. The unprecedented population growth is placing many demands on the Town for increased services. An administrator is desired that has had experience in population growth demands for municipal services.

Candidates must possess excellent verbal and written skills, outstanding interpersonal, financial, analytical, organization and planning skills. Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Public Administration or other related field is required; MPA, MBA desirable.
